Training Dojo

A weekly belt ladder that runs on damage. Unlocks at Chapter 18 and resets every 7 days. Climb from White Belt to Black Belt; the higher the belt and the higher your rank, the more skill-tree Journals you bank.
What the Dojo is actually worth. It pays Adventure and Specialization Journals, the currency that levels your skill trees, and rewards scale hard with belt: a White Belt top finish is 800 + 400 Journals, while a Black Belt rank 1 pays 9,000 Adventure + 6,000 Specialization Journals for the week. Keep that in perspective, though. That is the very top of the entire ladder, once a week. One Elite 200 clear at the 3× energy multiplier pays 10,470 Adventure + 12,960 Specialization, and you can run Elite every day. Treat the Dojo as a weekly bonus on top of Elite Levels, not as where your Journals come from.

How a season works

1. Spend a ticketEach Dojo Battle costs 1 Dojo Ticket. You bank up to 2 at a time, so check in and spend them so they do not overflow.
2. Race the bossYou fight a training dummy (a bear student that toughens by belt, up to the Sensei) and deal as much damage as you can. Damage is the whole game here.
3. Climb your groupYour season damage is your score on a leaderboard of 50 to 200 players in your belt. Highest damage is rank 1.
4. Season endYour final rank mails you Journals, then you promote up a belt (top finishers) or demote down (bottom finishers). Then it all resets.
Along the way you also clear daily damage milestones for Hero Dust and beat boss HP tiers for keys (both below). One-time quests hand out Gems and Wish Tokens for simply playing.

The belt ladder

Promotion tightens and demotion bites harder the higher you go. White and Yellow cannot demote, so early climbing is safe. From Blue Belt up, more players drop than rise, so holding a high belt is the real challenge. "A" = Adventure Journals, "S" = Specialization Journals.

Tips

1. Never let tickets cap out. You only hold 2, so a battle is wasted potential every time you sit full. Spend, then let them refill.
2. Climb fast while it is free. White and Yellow Belt cannot demote you, so push hard early to reach the belts where the Journal payouts actually get big.
3. The prize is the skill trees. Adventure and Specialization Journals are the only reason to grind the Dojo. If your trees are already maxed, a comfortable belt with low effort is fine.
4. Rank matters more than belt for the top jump. Rank 1 in a belt can out-earn the middle of the belt above it, and it is also your promotion ticket. Push for the top of your group in the final days.
5. Grab the daily Hero Dust. The daily damage milestones are free value even on days you are not chasing rank.
