| Mode | Brackets | Bots |
|---|---|---|
| Arena | 50 to 200 places, by tier | A fixed number in every bracket below Master |
| Guild Conquest | 4 guilds | Filler guilds in some brackets, and Reinforcements for the smaller of two real guilds that meet |
| Guild Raid | 20 to 30 guilds, by league | Set up for them, none recorded |
| Dojo | 50 to 200 places, by belt | Not set up for them |
Every Arena bracket below Master holds the same number of bots, however many real players it has. Bots hold real places on the ladder, so one can finish above you.
| Tier | Bracket size | Bots | Places for players | Bot power |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | 50 | 20 | 30 | 15,000 to 45,000 |
| Silver | 50 | 20 | 30 | 100,000 to 300,000 |
| Gold | 100 | 30 | 70 | 500,000 to 1,000,000 |
| Platinum | 100 | 25 | 75 | 1,500,000 to 3,000,000 |
| Diamond | 200 | 50 | 150 | 5,000,000 to 10,000,000 |
| Master | 200 | none | 200 |
Every one of the 1,619 brackets recorded on Rogue HQ since season 9 held exactly this many bots. Each bracket gets its own: Rogue HQ has recorded 52,460 different ones so far.
In the game a bot looks like any other player, and some carry names real players use, so a name alone does not tell you. The brackets on Rogue HQ mark them with a BOT badge.
A Conquest bracket is always 4 guilds, and some are completed with filler guilds. A filler has a two word name from a fixed list, such as Silent Dynasty or Grim Reapers, and 8 to 20 members, every one of them a bot with 800 to 4,000 power. Beating one of them earns the normal 10, 5 or 3 crowns. In the matchups recorded on Rogue HQ, a filler's roster was not topped up to match the guild it faced.
On every finished day a real guild faced a filler, the filler ended on 0 crowns. The only crowns fillers scored were against other fillers.
Of the 1,229 brackets recorded on Rogue HQ, 14 had filler guilds: 8 with one, 5 with two, 1 with three. They faced a real guild on 34 finished days.
Each day your guild faces one other guild. When two real guilds of different sizes meet, the smaller one gets up to 30 bots to match the other's roster size. In the game these bots show as Reinforcements.
Each one is worth 1 crown and has 1,000 power.
In all 677 matchups between two real guilds recorded on Rogue HQ, both rosters were the same size and Reinforcements were never on both sides at once. The most in one roster was 28, and in 191 matchups neither side had any.
Guild Raid leagues carry the same kind of bot settings as Arena, with a bot share of 40% in Bronze and Silver, 30% in Gold and Platinum and 25% in Diamond and Master. Unlike Arena, the league groups recorded on Rogue HQ hold none: in all 917 of them every guild was a real one, and 910 of them were completely full.
The Dojo is not set up with bots: its belt leagues have none of the bot settings Arena's tiers have. The opponents you hit in Dojo battles never attack back.
